This is a colored pencil drawing on Matte board made with #model references by @demitrimillas (insta). I started with the figures and making them abstract, then adding this California paradise. Paradise happens with love acceptance, and time. Cali isn't always paradise, although the colors may look like fun, the quilted symbols and shapes and patterns all weave together reality. Reality that is gray and sometimes needs color to simplify Pleasantville.
