"Jack's Lament"
 
Original painting is 8x10 acrylic painting. As a kid growing up in the 90's I always felt like a little weird or different as a kid. Halloween was always my favorite holiday because it's always fun to play dress up! Well the movie that took my heart was always "Nightmare Before Christmas" I have annually watched this movie every year for Halloween... it's my favorite. I even saw the Tim Burton LACMA show in 2011 which had all his movies and artwork he's done... it was incredible. Anywho friends "This is Halloween" and I'm happy to make more of this painting for sure! It is ok to be weird and different and this movie always made me feel not as strange in this world. 
This original piece was coated in resin.
