One of my favorite things to do is use color pencil to play with the colors, shadows, and composition of the drawing. I am so drawn to the color black and coloring on top of it.
I started art with oils, oils have layers. Every art style I go to I continually think about that. How can I represent my original process in a way that can illuminate others and myself?
I hope my improv nature of building and drawing shows the imperfections in an honest and bold way.
In art school many times they bend you to perfection, that always seemed to be frustrating. I always wanted to bend around the box...so I just never stopped.
